"It doesn't have to make sense. It's post-modern"
Originally, I planned on just submitting a song I composed by sampling some very odd sounds around my aparment. It seemed like a suitable second project, but then after it was finished, I realized that while I spent a long time working on that composition, it wasn't as much work as my first project. This prompted me to make a second short film, "Beans"
The original song is played while the girl is walking down the stairs up until she reaches the ktichen. The song that takes over upon the discovery of the little green man is actually a home recording that Kurt Cobain made called "Beans and Wine". Though the song lyrics are often misinterpreted as saying "nigger", Cobain is actually saying "naked".
This film also foreshadows the ending of my final project but I don't think anyone gets that. Nod to Lynch.
